Life changes when another orphan appears in Avonlea and is consequently adopted by Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert. Follow the story as they raise a young boy who day-dreams and pretends, like Anne, but for a life of justice and vigilantism.
The premise of the story is this: what would life be like for The Cuthberts and others in Avonlea if they were to have gotten the boy the wanted, and that orphan from the asylum ended up being the newly orphaned boy, Bruce Wayne.
How is his life changed? What has to happen in order for him to still become the hero Gotham needs?
